Sorry, just now seeing this. I'm sure you are aware they have released three new profiles, explorer, kl washed and kl natural.

After reading this thread, I am curious if there have been any further developments.

I realize this is a dated thread. That said, I just went through it in its entirety, and without a doubt, if you are interested in how your roaster works and its potential, this is an excellent read. I'm making a note to try Raost v4 on my next roasting session with some Ethiopian Zelelu Ararso from the Yirgacheffe region. My plan is to report back here with results.

If you post profiles suited for your beans in this area, it might result in Kaffelogic owners purchasing beans from you. If you upload good profiles, we may buy even more beans. If we love the results from your uploaded profiles, who knows where it could lead? We want to utilize profiles on our roas...

There is not a lot of room for notes, but hey, real estate is limited.

This is based on Benjamin F Leons D-Raost_v3 with just a couple of tweaks. Changes are noted in "About This File".
Edit: Just a FYI...My voltage at the plug-in is 123.3V (It appears adequate, clean power is critical for these roasters to operate at peak performance)

As most are aware, the core profiles aren't the best choice in most cases. I have heard rumors that the Kaffelogic team had plans to alter the core profiles to improve them. Is there a plan to do this?

I believe this is a great idea and only good could come from it.................as in really good coffee.
