Re: Software suggestion - multiple windows
Sweet, thanks, Chris. That's great. No need to waste development time on it from my perspective, I think.

Software suggestion - multiple windows
I am using the software on mac. If I'm doing something like working on modifying one profile to create another, I often want to cross-reference what results I saw in a log file, or what things I had programmed into another roast profile. It is super annoying to only be able to have one window open a...

Re: More zones ?
My thoughts around this are all constrained by the amount of EEPROM memory in the microcontroller. My inclination at the moment is to push it out to 5 zones instead of the current 3. This adds very little to the EEPROM and the complexity can be dealt with in Studio with a better zone editing featur...

Yes, I checked that, I'm asking because I want to confirm.

Boosts - C/min vs %/min
I would like to make sure I understand how "boosts" work The software says "Default: 0 (degrees C/min or %)" Does this mean that: A. If you have zone multipliers not equal to zero, the "boost" changes the number of degrees per minute over that zone. (This is a per minut...

Re: The Kaffelogic 12 core profiles
I thought for completeness I should re-cup the 2.0 cupping roast with higher fan calibration, in case sitting had made it improve. It wasn't ashy, but it was pretty rough and bitter; tasted pretty baked to me.

Re: The Kaffelogic 12 core profiles
Hi guys. 1. I found the higher fan speed calibration roast and cupped it this morning. The good news is that I didn't detect any charring or over-roasting at all. The bad news is that it is seriously, irredeemably baked. The acidity on it wasn't actually too bad, but it had this very sort of long, p...

Re: The Kaffelogic 12 core profiles
OK, I had typed up a longer response and somehow ended up losing it, so I'm just typing up some headline points ... 1. My kaffelogic's factory fan calibration was 0.89. I roasted a bunch of different roasts on different fan settings with some garbage coffee and I got power flatlining at 0.99, but wa...

Re: The Kaffelogic 12 core profiles
So it seems to me that either these profiles are way out of whack or my machine calibration is way out of whack. My impression across what I've tried is that a 100g roast of anything with the kaffelogic classic profile, many of the other profiles (eg. firestarter, ninja) and the core profiles I've t...
