Re: RTD profiles seem best after 12 to 24 hour rest
Nothing terribly scientific here, but I'm finding my RTD roasts are best enjoyed the next day. I agree that this is a general tendency and a useful rule of thumb, but in my experience there is great variability between beans and they tend to peak at slightly different times even though roasted to t...

Software Suggestion dev%
Hi, Just roasting away and was thinking it would be great to have the Dev % showing when the Nano goes into cool down. I never seem to catch it and need to look at a log.

Stuck bean
Hi,
Quietly going about my roasting when I noticed a bean stuck to the end of the probe after my last roast.
It’s really stuck, as in won’t budge at all
Any suggestions here? I’m guessing a rip off is not really the solution

Re: Indonesia Java Robusta
I’ve tried the robusta in an Indian and it didn’t get second crack. Can’t post the log (not at home) but it followed the profile pretty well. They need a little more heat to get there I think as dev % was also a little high at 32%.
Roasting again tomorrow so will tweak it a little and see how I go
