Re: K Logic Classic Profile Needed
There definitely is a separate profile on the roaster / flash drive called the 'Classic' or 'K Logic Classic' (there's also a 'Decaf' profile), that is not one of the altitude based profiles. I'm not in the same location as my roaster at the moment, so can't attempt to copy it.

Re: The Kaffelogic 12 core profiles
Hi! Not trying to deviate from the topic. But is there somewhere i can get hold of "Vienna Roast" "French Roast" "Italian Roast" Those are not 'profiles' as such. What you are referring to are some common descriptions of roast depth (i.e. how much you have 'cooked' the...

Re: Help is needed for strange voltage
Where on that log does it say that you only have 150V of power? The 'about this profile' tab shows 226V. The profile is pretty gentle and is clearly designed for filter. It doesn't look too bad to me. You don't say what is wrong with the taste of your coffee or how you are brewing it? Or what beans ...

Re: TEST Yemen Mokha profile 100g
The other 200g is using Steve's MD3 at 3.0 which I've enjoyed before. I have at least half of my coffee with milk, so super light doesn't work for me. Just ran a side by side test of the Yemen A2 Mod and MD3 after resting the beans for 16 days. The A2 Mod has been my preferred profile with Yemen bu...

Re: Kaffelogic roast level vs. US roast description
Yeh, it really depends on the profile being used (and the beans). For some of the profiles I use (e.g. Steve's MD3) a roast level of 3.3-3.4 looks 'Full City' to me. But 1.8 on Raost v3 is lighter....but nowhere near as much lighter as I had expected before trying it (maybe the light end of City?)

Re: TEST Yemen Mokha profile 100g
There's always the possibility, of course, that not everybody likes the Yemen as much as others do. I'm about to open a couple of bags at about 12 days post-roast, about 100g roasted using the Raost at 1.8, which looks awful but I might be surprised. The other 200g is using Steve's MD3 at 3.0 which ...

Re: Raost
Can report that the Raost Sidamo profile works very well for the Ethiopia Shakiso Estate formerly available through CS. I've been using 110g doses (as that is my standard approach) and doesn't seem to present an issue (for me).

Re: 100g Modified Ninja Turtle - high rpm fan / Low power
Hey I know this is a old post but I tried the lighter roast for modified ninja turtle and I was left with a decent amount of chaff on the finished beans and just wondering if this is normal? if not how would this be solved? What beans? Roast a bit longer if you don't like the effect (but I doubt it...

Re: Medium Dark as a base bean in blends
Yeh, I find that Steve's MD3 profile (at about 4.1-4.3) works really well with the Brazil PN (much better than all of my previous attempts with this bean on the Behmor). Have been blending that with various others (West JAva, Shakisso Estate, a couple of Colombians) with pretty good results thus far...
