Re: Updated Profiles
Hey everybody, Recently I uploaded a new version of the Raost profile (v5) on the KL User Forum in Discord; which you can join with this link: https://discord.gg/bRcgTDYmXc Also, just to avoid the profiles being scattered all around, I thought I'd just upload all the profiles I currently use here. R...

Studio Issues with M1 Macbook
Hello! I'm writing this because I've been having recurring issues with Kaffelogic Studio on my M1 Macbook. I've been running the last available version of Studio (v. 6.0.3) and I usually have to open and close it several times before it works. The application doesn't respond and I have to quit it an...

Re: Adaptive Raost
Hey everyone! I've been working in this new profile for a while. It's called Adaptive Raost . While it doesn't really adapt automatically, I call it so because it's meant to be edited to suit different needs with very specific steps, so the fundamental shape of the curves don't change. Adaptive Raos...

Re: Raost
You say your profiles are designed for 80 gram batches but always with rehydrated beans? If I am not rehydrating, should I increase the batch to 100 gr in order to decrease air to bean ratio? Apart from different preheat needed, how do you think that batch size affects without rehydrating? Thank yo...

Re: Raost
Hello Olga! No problem, actually I also roasted some batches of the Drima Zede; I adopted an approach similar to the D-Raost for that one. Here are all the profiles I've used for NinetyPlus coffees. All of these profiles are designed with an 80 gram batch in mind. Juliette.kpro Kemgin.kpro Kambera.k...

Re: Raost
Also, just wanted to show you a couple of logs! I recently launched my micro-roastery here in Chile; it's called King Solomon Micro Roasters (@kingsolomoncoffee in instagram, if anybody wants to check it out). I used slightly modified versions of D-Raost and Raost to roast a bunch of Geshas from Nin...

Re: LARGE BEANS Profile (AAA, 20 screen size)
Hey!
You could try this profile I came up with a couple of days ago. It's meant for 60 grams and it's been working quite well. It's a "mini version" of the D-Raost profile.
Let us know how it goes!

Re: Raost
Hey everyone! Sorry the late response! I've been launching a micro-roastery for the past few weeks, so not as much free time as I'd like to have... Hi @benjaminfleon, I’ve tried yours D-Raost V2 and whilst I have the same voltage as yours, I still received the “low voltage” message - is it normal? C...

Re: Raost
Hey Rokkuran! Yeah, I usually cup the coffee the day after roasting and around 5 to 7 days later. I usually cup within those days in order to have an idea of flavors descriptors, taste balance and tactile, which I'll use for my customers. I've found the best flavors are after 14 days from roasting t...
