Re: KL Studio Spelling Mistakes

No Stress Wayne, I work in software and am very well acquainted with bugs, they will happen 100% of the time some times.

Re: KL Studio Spelling Mistakes

Hey Wayne, The values in the advanced options seem OK, see screenshot attached. I can confirm when I add a "space" or character after the phase name it does reflect for example if I change phase 1 to "Drying " it works meaning the right most character is sometimes dropped. My Ver...

Re: Ethiopia Sidamo Ardi

Thanks for the share, I cupped some Ardi using the MASL 1500 - 2000 2.8, filter origin, ninja turtle 2.5 and Raost v4. All were cupped at about 5 days rest, the Raost was definitely my preferred profile followed by Ninja Turtle and then MASL. The Raost worked really well for Espresso as a longer pul...

Re: Recommended Profile for Ethiopian Yirgacheffe?

@kidleethal, Interesting I found the same when using the filter-origin for Ethiopian Sidamo Ardi. I cupped it alongside the MASL profile, ninja turtle, and Raost V4. I found filter origin a bit too light in flavour and body although I did get the fruity hints I was after if I really focused. I kept ...

Logging First Crack (FC) on KL Nano

This is quite obvious to some users, but surprisingly is not in the Instruction Booklet. It is mentioned in the Kaffelogic Roaster's Companion. How to log First Crack (FC) Start the roast by hitting the Start button (3rd button from the left) Listen for FC, Hit the Menu button (1st button from the r...

How to accentuate fruit flavour in coffee (Filter)

Super new to roasting, sometimes I feel new to coffee too. Ever so often, I pick up a bag of coffee from my favourite roaster. When I open the bag, I get whacked with something that causes me to smile. I can tell what the coffee will taste like and cannot wait. Fruity, juicy, berry, sweet goodness. ...
