Re: Hello

Well I'm giving it a red hot go. I've done two different things: 1. Separately roasted the four beans, all at 1500-2000 MASL rest profiles - Peru Ceja de Silva, 3.4; Guatemalan Jacaltenango SHB, 3.4; Indonesian Sulawesi Blue, 3.2 and Eth Harrar F/T, 2.8 2. Preblended and again used the 1500-2000 MAS...

Re: Hello

Hi Amberale, How are your Kaffelogic roasting experiments going? I've just left the safety of my learner beans (Indian Elephant Hills) and struck out into unchartered territory (for me). I want to experiment a bit with different blends loosely based, in the first instance, on the highly regarded KJM...

Re: Can you interpret these logs for me?

Thanks for the comprehensive reply Darryl. Can you interpret these logs for me?

I've just done my first few roasts with KL (with anything actually, a total first for me). My 'learner' beans are Indian Elephant Hills. That's all I've used so far. Each roast is 100g in and between 84 and 85g out. I've roasted them on the 1500-2000 Rest profile at 3.2, 3.4 and 3.6. Each time the f...

Re: Help! What to do when test fails

I did a factory reset and ran the test again. This time it worked. So it’s all systems go and I can now focus on beans.

Help! What to do when test fails

I bought a Nano 1007B/E from someone who said he had done maybe 20 roasts in it and that it all works well. I’ve turned it on and run the (no beans) test suggested in the instructions and I neither get the message “Heat too fast. Please check beans” nor does the machine begin the cool down cycle. I ...
