Airflow meter
This is a brain dump - be warned: I've been sitting and having a coffee. I have a roast using Steve's MD2 and was surprised it was quite good a few days after roasting (Sorry Steve  ) What I mean is that I tried a roast using his MD4 profile and got nowhere. So I started thinking... always a d...

Re: Expected life of the Nano?
I needed to dissemble and clean the contacts connecting the motor to the circuit board at around 430 roasts. The fan motor first became intermittent at starting and then finally would not run. Reseating the contacts and reassembly gave temporary respite. However, it took a full clean with a contact ...

Re: Hello from the UK
Hi, An exciting Christmas lies ahead then! It might help other UK potential buyers, now that Bella Barista are out of the equation as a UK supplier - apparently (and thank goodness, scumbags all of them) - to say which route you used to get yours. And with the greatest act of self harm, any governme...

I think pressing profile selection button brig back that "development progress" screen. Chris or Wayne nay be able to confirm. The quick and easy way to get back to the profile and development % is by pressing the PROFILE button anytime during the roast . Well silly me, thank you both. I ...

Re: 1200m Rest L2.4 vs K-Logic L2.4
.... If I should recommend anyone a profile for this special bean for espresso I would recommend the Classic profile at about default level that gave the best result for me. I agree; those are my findings too. It a close thing between either 0-12 RTD or Rest but the Classic edges it. I keep coming ...

Roasting some Guji today I was keen to follow a successful roast that ended at L1.6 I had made a couple of days before. I had set 1.6 as the target but as the roast progressed I noticed 1st crack was a degree or two higher than my previous roast . (Today the air pressure is high.) I intervened to in...

The reason I showed my canisters was that I've found them useful. They are not too big. I make notes and i put the notes above the beans in the canister. The lid is translucent and I can read the notes without opening the canister. Degassing occurs even if the lid is closed and as soon as you open ...
