Re: May I...
I’m led to believe rightly or wrongly that the CO2 provides a protective layer, so if left undisturbed in your glass containers would be beneficial. Mmm. There is something called Brownian Motion that applies to molecules in gasses. The energy the gas has - as denoted by temperature - means the mol...

Re: May I...
I have been told is it is the oxygen (from air) that does the damage to beans in storage. Increased CO2 will not reduce oxygen, but just increase the pressure within the container. Airscape was mentioned in my original post. Those containers solve the problem of the increased air volume as beans are...

You never know when they might become collector's pieces! :) Screenshot from 2020-10-02 08-43-11.png And you'll like...

Re: Feedback for the Core Profiles
. Angela, I can see that you roast rather light with a L=2.1. Usually if I roast that light my espresso becomes too acid for my taste. It's usually OK with pour over though. Hiya. I read somewhere, in my eternal search for a better brew, that Yirgacheffes shouldn't continue more than 1:30 mins afte...

Re: Feedback for the Core Profiles
.... I will try it on my Ethiopians. How do you drink your coffee? Espresso? What L? I mostly use espresso 1:2 ratio, or thereabout for Ethiopians to avoid too much acidity, roasted to level 2.1. But the Yirgacheffe beans do give a very tea like experience with the French Press as well which I choo...
