Feedback for the Core Profiles

Would it be a good idea to feedback in one place on the core profiles? Let me kick off by saying the new profiles work well, on the whole, for me. As stated earlier the First crack is at 206C or close by for most of my roasts. My present batch of Yirgacheffe naturals sing their thanks to thank Wayne...

Re: Roast Record Sheet

There is an old thread on something similar here https://kaffelogic.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=42&p=189#p189 I still use them but I changed the fairly useless 'roasted by' to the 'grind setting' I find by experiment. If it wasn't me who roasted my beans who else might it be? That's wh...

Re: Bean temp Vs Probe temp

Slightly tongue in cheek may I say if you get a sensible answer I will eat my hat. :D I've asked it before; I'm still confused. I will say with Wayne's profiles I'm getting a fairly consistent FC starting around 205/6. Whereas with some other profiles my FC was as late as 214/5. I think it isn't rea...

Re: Few burnt beans and how I fixed it

I have an observation about electrical power in Europe. Some fourteen years ago I lived in France. I needed a new alarm clock and bought cheap digital one from Lidl (German discounter active in France). The clock would lose time - sometimes hours a day I seem to remember. Generally in the Summer it ...

Re: D-Roast

I'm a bit late to the party. just tried Damian's profile on some Brazilian Cerrado beans that I've had for a while - and not got too much from - other than long waits. Just brewed a coffee straight after roasting an am very impressed with this profile - lets hope the coffee hold up as it matures.

Re: Problems with the Kaffelogic Studio Software

Linux user here. What's Windoze? Maybe it is KDE that is fouling things up? I'm currently on Ubuntu 20.04. It appears to work. On a previous Ubuntu version I was a release ahead of Chris and I had library problems. But everything got sorted in the fullness of time. Could you run a Virtual box versio...
