Re: Log feedback please Wayne - fan calibration

When looking at my logs I'm seeing a really wobbly ROR and I'm not sure if this is expected either. Overall, I'm having a hard time determining what's the best course of action to correct these things. A part from the other suggestions coming up here, there is a YouTube channel which contains a lot...

Re: Slow Light Roasts

JonFairhurst, when you say "run away temperatures" do you mean at the end of the roast or the start of the roast? Many of the roasts do runaway at the start but the roaster drags the temp back down to the curve fairly quickly. I've not had that problem at the end of a roast with the KL pro...

Crikey, you've certainly jumped down the rabbit hole Alice. The only problem is you can't control what the bean chooses to do

Re: Thermal runaway again and again

I can't help you as I don't have the boost yet, but just to say if you haven't already, join the Facebook group ' Kaffelogic Users' as well, you may find more replies. I did look at that profile, and what a nightmare. Maybe try not to roast the maximum of 200g, start smaller and go from there.

Re: Mexico el Triunfo Arabigo

I have to say this is one of my favourite beans since starting to roast again in early April; in fact I purchased another 2.5kg from Coffee Snobs immediately after tasting it. I have used the altitude profile of 1200-1500 Rest across 6 roasts and all have resulted in stunning bright, bold coffees wi...
