I’ll be using 113.4g, which is 1/4 pound, so I don’t end up with an unroastable remainder, given that green beans are typically sold in pound increments in the US.

To be safe, I can weigh my batch and divide it up evenly before roasting.

That was a Guatemalan bean. I used that up and tried a different Guatemalan bean and it was completely different! I’m guessing that it was a bit old. It was dense but really soaked up heat with the temp all over the place! I kept lowering the curve, but the key seemed to be lowering the overall temp...

Great minds. I'm just now preparing for my next roast, lowered the preheat, and I got the same recommendation. I'll give it a try.

I actually like the buttons, because they require little force to operate. If the buttons required more force, the unit might move around, or I might have to hold the machine with my other hand.
