What books or articles would the community recommend for understanding roasting on the Kaffelogic?
Specifically, Rao's The Coffee Roaster's Companion and Hoos' Modulating the Flavour Profile of Coffee appear popular choices; are they useful in this context?
-----
Thanks to anyone that can provide their insight.
I'm new to the Kaffelogic (and new to the forum - hello!) but historically roasted on a Behmor before the lack of control and repeatability had me disillusioned. The added flexibility of the Kaffelogic means I need to better understand the details of roasting, especially with an air roaster, if I'm ever going to get quality results without blindly stumbling onto a good profile.
Cheers,
Andrew

To my knowledge, those are the two main go-to's.
Blogs
Scott Rao has some awesome content on his blog as well as on the Cropster blog.
Podcast
Tim Wendelboe podcast, having tasted some of his roasts, Id be comfortable following his advice.

There is a fantastic Podcast named "Coffee Roasting Navigated". The lady also has a blog and the content I find is top notch. http://coffeenavigated.net/podcast-roasting-navigated/.
YouTube
There are 3 YT channels I've found really good.

https://youtube.com/c/VirtualCoffeeLab
https://youtube.com/c/HomeRoastingCoffeeRoastRebels
Mill City has a series on YT called Roasting School. Can highly recommend.

Re: Recommended reading?
Also, in my limited experience, few things you read will make an impact even close to actually roasting, cupping and taking notes.
Re: Recommended reading?
Hi.
Tim Wendelboe has also recently started a podcast. It is on most of the normal podcast platforms.
He is a real ressource in the global coffee scene so I think some good content will be available there. It is on my subscription list now.
