For cupping - Please don't eat anything very spicy the night before and try not eat anything too spicy in the morning . have some water with you to clean your palate out.
The coffee to be used for the cupping session and will needed to be roasted next week Tuesday :
- Ethiopian Yirgacheffe roasted coffee - Roasted with 2 profiles 100g
- Clombian Exselso roasted coffee - Roasted with 2 profiles 100g
- Kenyan AB roasted coffee - Roasted with 2 profiles100g
You will need the following for Next weeks cupping with pictures attached :
Cupping profile : 8g coffee / 150ml water / 1:18.75 Ratio
- 8x plastic or glass vessels that can hold 150ml of boiling water . Please don't worry about handles. once water is placed in them . We will not move them . Picture attached
- 2x standard mugs for rinsing and spitting
- Grinder with burrs cleaned and set to a plunger grind ( French press ) . We want consistent particle size
- 2x soup spoons or teaspoons per person
- Paper towel or an old BUT clean dish cloth
- 1x scale
- 1x kettle
- Optional measuring jug with 150ml marker
