When should I power my nano down?

#61

Post by Ivan.Mason »

I often turn off my nano 7 after the cooldown has completed however I note if I leave it then it will instruct me to turn the unit off.

When should I turn it off and would the timing of this create the zero size log issue?

Cheers Ivan

The Nano is designed to be turned off to save power (due to not being in standby mode unnecessarily). If you turn it off during the roast or cool down cycle there is a small risk of damaging the log file. Once it has finished the cool down cycle it doesn't make any difference when you turn it off - the idea is just to turn it off some time after it has finished. This is most likely not the cause of the empty roast log file.
