Lost power mid-roast...what to do next?

#1205

Post by lancruiser »

I am going to put this out there. Will be interested in practical and creative solutions.

My neighbourhood had a power outage while I was in the middle of a roast. If only the roast were in the drying phase, I could potentially restart the roast when the power returned. Unfortunately, the roast was in the miallard phase.

Now, what can I do with the beans?

Use the Classic profile with 90g, at end of yellow - orange top up batch with 20 - 30g of stalled batch.

Thanks, Steve. Interesting idea. Unfortunately, I left the beans unattended and it got attacked by birds

I will keep this in mind if electricity falls me again.
