The Kaffelogic 12 core profiles
I have recently purchased a Kaffelogic roaster.
It came with the most recent firmware & memory stick with the 12 core profiles.
Yesterday I wanted to use 0-1200 RTD profile. when it came up on the menu it read 'Need update for 0-1200m RTD'
Tonight I switched on the machine to take a photo of the message & also got the same message for 3 other profiles.
Can anybody help with this issue?
thanks.

Good day

Congrats on the purchase of the KL .. It's going to bring you many hours of great roasting .

Please check that you have the latest version of Firmware loaded onto the KL AND the latest version of KAFFELOGIC studio .

The latest version of Firmware for the KL roaster is : 7.4.5.1100 bin

Please find this , with the origin map and the 12 new core profiles on the attached zip file . Literally copy the whole folder on to your memory stick . This will assure you have the right root files on your memory stick .

Check if you have the new firmware by :
1 . Switch on machine
2 . Press menu button ( Last right ) till you see technical data
3 . Press the load button ( Triangle ) then + or - to search for the firmware

If you need to load new Firmware :
1. Switch off machine
2 . Insert USB with the correct folders on
Hold down the load button ( Triangle ) and switch on the roaster
3 . Wait for the words " RESETTING " before letting button go . Roaster will load new Firmware .

Please go to the support page at : https://kaffelogic.com/index.php/home/support and download the latest version of KAFFELOGIC studio .

This should take care of the messages .

Enjoy and shout if you need anything .

Regards

Wayne

Hi Wayne,
Thank you for the reply.
After receiving the roaster I checked the firmware on the supplied memory stick which was the current version.
I 'assumed' (yes, I should know better) that was the same as installed on the machine.
After your reply I checked & found that not to be the case. The machine is now updated & working fine with all the profiles.
Thanks for the support.
And now to commence the steep learning curve of roasting coffee beans.
Cheers.
