After making changes to a profile in laptop, do I need to manually re-choose that profile in the LCD menu of the nano?

Why am I asking?

I made a change to pre-heat power and i kept getting "heat too fast" messages, and when I looked at the log outputs, it doesnt seem like the pre-heat power change worked... Perhaps I needed to re-choose the profile to "reload" it on the roaster after the change?>

Yes, saving the profile on the roaster does not load it into the roaster. Either re-load on the roaster or use the 'finger' button in Studio - it's beside the 'Save to roaster' button.
