Got round to looking at the log, and yes, it's clear it wasn't managing to hold the curve, though it was still heating at the point it aborted. Most importantly, the beans still made OK coffee!!

Late to this party, but that is super interesting. Mine refuses to start if the voltage is below 220V (which being in Europe, has been surprisingly often).
As a result, I've made a number of profiles which sacrifice ~10% of fan speed to focus on keeping the heat high enough (which work out OK)

We recently discovered that our kitchen extractor fan runs only in recirculating mode (!!! Our house is airtight, and actual ventilation occurs elsewhere!) so had taken to roasting outside.
