Anyone here has any recommendations for 140-150g batches with the boost ring? I tried RaostV4 but it certainly produced too little bean movement and for a natural I ended up with a botched runaway roast. I replaced the stock cable recently and it seems to have solved sync problems. I save to NAS location, a separate drive on my network.

Bro I forgot to respond. Thanks for your input.

I did try the powerzone and it did tame the ROR a bit - definitely something to work on. I've had some good success with powerzones but not consistently. Sometimes the beans just get unruly like teenage girls. lol

This one turned out particularly good for my nonpaying customers - my wife and my coffee guzzling work bro. Despite the drop temp, the beans were not oily at all and looked medium dark. I'm of the belief my Nano7 reads about 6*F higher than what I was seeing with my Larry Cotton wobble disk roaster ...

Choppy ROR after 1st crack

Anyone else seeing this in their machine? I checked some klogs of others and they seem smoother than what I am seeing - granted for different settings.
